Child lists must be configured as such. If they are not, messages to the parent list will be rejected because a header in the mail indicates that it was sent by ListManager.
This trap feature is designed to prevent mail loops.
For each child list, go to Utilities: List Settings: Basic Information: Enable Features, and set Enable This List as a Child List to Yes. ( this only apply if the list was not created as a marketing list)
