Why do test messages display a real member email address in the "To" field Print

When performing a "Save and Test", the actual test email address will receive the test message. However; ListManager will pick a random email address from the list to emulate the send process. Note that the random email address will not receive the mailing.  This process emulates the actual mailing providing a preview of what the mailing should look like.

Additional

To change the behavior to display the real test address:

  1. Navigate to "Utilities: Administration: Server: Server Settings: Advanced"
  2. Choose the "Enable Features" tab
  3. Change the "Use Real Recipient Address When Merging Test Messages" option to "yes."
  4. Click the "Save" button
