Common Cause: "Always accept" Ban
This can happen when an Admin accidentally sets an "Always accept" ban for a domain.
Once an address or domain matches an "Always accept" ban, ListManager prevents other addresses from joining.
All other addresses with normal status will be moved to unsubscribe status.
If the Always accept was unintentional, follow the steps below to rectify:
- Navigate to Members: Ban Addresses
- Sort the Ban by clicking on the "Type"
- You will see "Always accept" Ban which is responsible moves all normal members to unsubscribe
- Select “Delete” link for the ban, then click on "Apply Bans" button
NOTE: The ban change will not be applied unless "Apply Bans" is clicked.
Download all unsubscribed members and sort it in Excel based on unsubscribed date, and re-upload them with action "Import quietly as regular members."
