Question:
How to specify a default segment for a list?

Solution:
By default, ListManager will send to all members of a list.  Changing the default segment can be useful when creating mailings to prevent accidentally sending to the entire list.

Associating a default segment to a list:

1. Create a segment by Navigating to "Segments"
    
2. After creating segment, navigate to "Utilities : List Settings : Basic Information"
3. Select the "Enable Features" tab
4. Select the "Default segment" from the drop down menu
    
5. Click the "Save" button to accept the changes

Note:
Segmentation is a Pro level license feature. If you would like to use segmentation and do not currently have a Pro level license, please contact your sales representative at sales@lyris.com to discuss upgrading your current license.
